Coplanar Cross-Junction C_CROSS

Notes :

The great deviation between measurement and simulation especially at frequencies above 20GHz comes from the propagation of odd mode waves, which excites at discontinuities without airbridges. Utilizing airbridges, the odd mode will be suppressed at the discontinuity, so that we achieve good agreement between measurement and simulation. A slightly increasing deviation of the curves with higher frequencies results from the calculated static eeff, which is a frequency dependent parameter. There is no obvious difference between the use of airbridge type 1 or 2. In both cases the parasitic capacitance's are nearly the same.
