GALILEO is still a long way off – IMST won't wait

As part of the MuGeR project, IMST GmbH is working with RWTH Aachen to develop an innovative concept for highly-integrated HF front-end ASIC receivers for high-performance GNSS multi-frequency/multi-constellation receivers. These receivers will be a key component of future precision satellite navigation systems.

Integration into the GALILEO satellite navigation system, which will be available from 2016, will also play an important role.
The aim of the concept is to develop a new, universal HF receiver solution for the commercial and professional receiver market.
Towards the end of the project, the HF front-end will be tested in a laboratory environment with an existing navigation baseband in the system, in order to ensure its subsequent seamless deployment.
